Hyatt Centric The Loop

Integrated Clark Monroe, LLC, owner of the Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago, disclosed a data breach where malware installed on the front desk computer system compromised guest payment card information (names, card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates) between September 2016 and April 2017. The hotel engaged law enforcement and a third-party cybersecurity firm to remove the malware and upgraded security systems. Affected guests were offered one year of credit monitoring.
