Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago experienced a data breach from September 27, 2016, to April 28, 2017, where malware installed on the front desk computer system captured payment card data (names, card numbers, CVVs, expiration dates) from guests. The owner, Integrated Clark Monroe, LLC, notified California residents. The malware was removed, systems were upgraded, and one year of credit monitoring was offered via Kroll Information Assurance.
