Financial Business and Consumer Solutions, Inc. (FBCS), a debt collection agency, discovered unauthorized access to its network on February 26, 2024. The investigation determined that an unauthorized actor had access to certain systems between February 14 and February 26, 2024, with the ability to view or acquire information. FBCS engaged third-party forensics, secured the environment, and implemented additional safeguards. Affected individuals may have had PII, including SSNs, accessed or exfiltrated. Credit monitoring services are being offered.
