Mechanics Bank (dba CRB Auto) disclosed that a single hard drive containing customer loan documentation and personal information was inadvertently left in a computer donated to a non-profit in February 2020. The hard drive was immediately retrieved upon notification by the recipient. The bank determined the data was not shared with unknown third parties.
