Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America notified affected individuals of a data security incident occurring on July 16, 2025. A malicious threat actor gained access to a cloud-based system, obtaining personal information including names, addresses, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. Allianz Life contained the issue, engaged Kroll for forensic and identity monitoring services, and offered two years of free credit monitoring and identity theft restoration to affected individuals.
