Kiefer Aquatics, a point-of-sale vendor, reported a data breach affecting 1,918 individuals, including 3 Maine residents. The breach, which was described as an external system breach (hacking), occurred on January 23, 2023, and was discovered on May 16, 2023. The compromised information included names combined with financial account numbers or credit/debit card numbers, along with their respective security codes, access codes, passwords, or PINs.
