Cohn Handler Sturm

Cohn Handler Sturm notified clients and employees of a data breach after a partner's PIN-protected cell phone was stolen on July 29, 2017. The stolen device contained access to the partner's work email account, potentially exposing Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and financial account numbers. The firm immediately changed account credentials, remotely wiped the device, and notified law enforcement. Identity theft protection services were offered to affected individuals.
