Oregon Academy of General Dentistry notified consumers of unauthorized access to an employee email account between Oct 17-31, 2022. OAGD secured the account, rotated passwords, implemented MFA, and engaged forensic specialists. 12 months of Experian identity monitoring was offered.

The Oregon Academy of General Dentistry reported a data breach affecting 351 Maine residents. The breach, an external system hack, occurred on October 17, 2022, and was discovered on February 3, 2023. The compromised data included names combined with financial account numbers or credit/debit card numbers with their associated security codes, access codes, passwords, or PINs. Affected individuals were notified in writing on March 1, 2023, and offered one year of credit monitoring and identity protection services through Experian.
