Pirelli Tire LLC discovered on September 24, 2024 that its data stored in folders on the Pirelli Group IT network had been accessed without authorization from September 18–19, 2024, and potentially exfiltrated. Affected information included names and Social Security numbers. A total of 332 individuals were affected, including 1 Maine resident. Pirelli Group reset passwords, engaged cybersecurity counsel, and monitored the dark web. Notification letters were sent December 19, 2024.
