Michael T. Blevins, Inc., a mail handling and tax preparation service, experienced unauthorized access to its computer network in late March 2017. An attacker accessed client tax data, including names, SSNs, DOBs, and bank account routing numbers. The incident was contained, and the company engaged forensic experts, notified law enforcement and the IRS, and offered identity protection services to affected clients.
