Zurich American Insurance Company reported a data breach involving unauthorized access to claim payment data via a third-party payment vendor. Between August and December 2018, falsified account information was used to access claim payments, exposing recipients' names, medical information, and the last four digits of their Social Security numbers. Zurich retained CyberScout to provide one year of complimentary credit monitoring to affected individuals.
