Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc.

Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc. notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of an insider threat incident in February 2009. A former employee accessed HR/payroll databases containing names, addresses, and Social Security numbers of two NH residents. The perpetrator was arrested, and equipment was seized for forensic analysis. Beam Global delayed notification at law enforcement's request and planned to notify affected individuals by June 16, 2009. Remediation included disabling remote access and limiting authorized access.
