Assurance IQ, LLC and USA Family Protection Insurance Services, LLC reported that an unauthorized third party may have obtained driver's license numbers of certain individuals through an online life insurance application process hosted on Assurance's public-facing websites. The unauthorized activity began in November 2020 and continued intermittently through April 1, 2022. The exposed information was limited to driver's license numbers and state of issuance. The companies notified law enforcement and offered two years of complimentary identity monitoring services through Kroll.
