Zions Bancorporation, N.A. reported unauthorized access to its computer network on or around June 1, 2019. Personal information of online banking customers, including names, user IDs, email addresses, account numbers, and potentially Social Security or tax ID numbers, may have been improperly viewed or acquired. Passwords were not accessed. The investigation is ongoing. The bank engaged forensic experts, notified law enforcement and regulators, and offered two years of identity theft protection to affected customers.
