On July 25, 2024, Meta Materials Inc. became aware its website, email and related IT systems were significantly disrupted. Initial investigation determined a former executive officer deliberately de-activated and cancelled renewal of the company's website, impacting email delivery to customers, investors and stakeholders. Outside counsel compelled reinstatement; website and email were restored July 29, 2024. The Company continues evaluating any unauthorized access; no material IP or customer data impact identified to date.
