Santee School District notified residents that its Student Information System vendor, PowerSchool, was hacked between December 19-23, 2024. Student and staff data was downloaded by an unauthorized user. PowerSchool contained the breach. The district does not store SSNs in PowerSchool. Credit monitoring services are being provided.
