On August 1, 2024, the City of Orange City, FL discovered that in response to a public records request from an independent journalist, it had inadvertently provided documentation containing unredacted personal information of 108 individuals (2 Maine residents). The incident was classified as an inadvertent disclosure/misdelivery. Affected individuals were offered 12 months of credit monitoring through Cyberscout. Consumer notifications were sent March 10, 2025.
