Xcel Energy Inc.

Xcel Energy notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a data security breach involving approximately 4 New Hampshire residents. An employee processing facility access mistakenly emailed a spreadsheet containing names and Social Security numbers to other managers. Xcel Energy's IT team recalled or deleted the emails and confirmed they were not forwarded outside the network. Affected individuals received written notice and reimbursement for credit report costs.
