Macmillan and its affiliates (“Macmillan”)

Macmillan and its affiliates reported a data breach to the Maine Attorney General, which was discovered on November 1, 2022. The breach, described as an external system breach (hacking), occurred between June 16, 2022, and June 25, 2022. The incident affected 37 Maine residents, and a total of 19,178 individuals. The compromised information included names or other personal identifiers in combination with financial account numbers or credit/debit card numbers along with their security codes, access codes, passwords, or PINs. Affected individuals were notified on December 1, 2022, and offered 24 months of credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian.
