California Online Public Schools (CalOPS) disclosed that personally identifiable information (PII) of students and parents was inadvertently included in Board meeting agenda packets posted publicly on its website. The incident occurred between July 1, 2023, and November 2025. CalOPS became aware of the disclosure on November 14, 2025. Affected data includes student and parent names, contact information, disability classifications, and provider notes. CalOPS removed the packets, is redacting and reposting them, and has implemented staff training and review processes to prevent recurrence.
