TJG, Inc. d/b/a Target Marketing experienced a security incident on May 14, 2013, where an unauthorized third party accessed its e-commerce platform. The attacker obtained personal information including names, emails, addresses, credit/debit card numbers, expiration dates, and CVV codes. The breach was discovered on May 15, 2013, by a service provider who applied security patches and engaged experts. Notifications were sent to affected customers on May 17, 2013.
