East Bay Regional Park District experienced an insider data incident on September 18, 2025, when an employee emailed an attachment containing personal information (names and Social Security Numbers) to their personal email account. After investigation and manual review, the Park District determined on November 12, 2025 that unauthorized access to the data could not be ruled out. Affected individuals were offered complimentary identity monitoring through Kroll.
