VTech Electronics North America, LLC disclosed that an unauthorized party accessed customer data on its Learning Lodge app store database on November 14, 2015. The company discovered the incident on November 24, 2015. Affected data included names, email addresses, encrypted passwords, secret questions/answers, IP addresses, mailing addresses, and download history. No credit card, banking, or government ID data was involved. VTech conducted an investigation and implemented defensive measures.
