KIPP Public Charter Schools

KIPP SoCal Public Schools notified families of a data breach involving a GitHub repository with incorrect privacy settings. The exposure occurred from October 3, 2019, to June 2, 2020. Student names, addresses, birth dates, race/ethnicity, primary language, and primary disability were exposed. Social Security numbers were not included. The breach was discovered by a vendor, and the file was deleted and the page inactivated.
