Robeson Health Care Corporation ("RHCC") reported a data breach affecting 62,627 individuals, including 8 residents of Maine. The breach, which occurred on February 17, 2023, was discovered on February 21, 2023. The incident was described as an external system breach (hacking), where threat actors acquired personal identifiers in combination with Social Security numbers. RHCC provided written notification to affected consumers on April 21, 2023, and November 27, 2023, and offered 12 months of identity monitoring and restoration services through Experian.
