Hudson's Bay Company disclosed a POS malware incident affecting Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks OFF 5TH, and Lord & Taylor locations in North America. Malware ran on point-of-sale systems from approximately July 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018, collecting cardholder names, payment card numbers, and expiration dates. E-commerce platforms and other HBC banners were not affected. HBC engaged forensic experts, worked with law enforcement, and offered free identity protection services via AllClear ID.
