Nations Lending Corporation

Nations Lending Corporation notified customers that a third-party title company vendor suffered a ransomware attack in late July 2021. The attack encrypted the vendor's systems. Nations Lending determined that customer data, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and financial account information, may have been accessed. Nations Lending suspended transactions with the vendor, moved pending closings to other providers, and offered one year of identity monitoring via Kroll.

Nations Lending Corporation reported an external system breach (hacking) that occurred between July 22, 2021, and August 2, 2021. The breach was discovered on August 4, 2021. The compromised data includes names or other personal identifiers in combination with Driver's License Numbers or Non-Driver Identification Card Numbers. A total of 64 Maine residents were affected. Nations Lending Corporation offered 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Kroll.
