Fairmont Private Schools notified individuals that their personal information, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and Social Security or Tax Identification numbers, may have been accessed due to a ransomware attack on third-party vendor Blackbaud. The attack occurred between February and May 20, 2020. Fairmont was notified of the exposure of legacy data files on September 29, 2020. Blackbaud paid a ransom to the cyber-criminal. Affected individuals are offered 24 months of free credit monitoring.
