Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a data security incident affecting one NH resident. On May 4, 2022, unauthorized access to an OPB email account was observed, likely via phishing. OPB suspended access, engaged forensic experts, and determined on Sept 2, 2022, that employee/member PII (name, address, DOB, SSN, passport) was accessed. Notification to the single affected resident began Sept 26, 2022, offering Equifax identity monitoring. No evidence of misuse was found.
