T-Bird Restaurant Group Holdings, Inc.

T-Bird Restaurant Group, Inc. reported a physical theft of point-of-sale and back-office computers from its Northridge, California Outback Steakhouse on August 6, 2015. The stolen POS system contained employee names and Social Security Numbers. The incident was discovered on August 7, 2015. T-Bird notified law enforcement, offered 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection via ID Experts, and removed SSNs from the POS system as a remediation measure.
