An error in the online application system allowed pending applications to view related profiles, potentially exposing personal, medical, and government ID data of campers and volunteers. The incident was discovered on January 12, 2015, and the database was taken offline. The organization notified affected individuals via ID Experts, offering credit monitoring and identity protection services.
