On December 12, 2025, California FAIR Plan Association (CFPA) inadvertently disclosed personal information of individual brokers—including names, addresses, and Social Security numbers—to an unknown third party. Policyholder data was not impacted except where a broker is also a policyholder. CFPA launched an internal forensic investigation, enhanced security monitoring, and is offering two years of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through IDX.
