World Council of Credit Unions reported an external system breach (hacking) that occurred and was discovered on October 30, 2020. The breach affected one Maine resident, compromising their Social Security Number. Notification to the affected individual was sent on May 10, 2021, and 12 months of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services were offered.
