Suffolk County, a government entity, experienced an external system breach discovered on September 8, 2022. The date of the breach is unknown. The breach compromised names and driver's license or non-driver identification card numbers. While the total number of affected individuals is unknown as the investigation is ongoing, approximately 29 Maine residents were impacted. Affected individuals were notified on December 7, 2022, and offered 12 months of credit monitoring services from Kroll.
