Michael Koch, dba Lockhart, Britton & Koch, reported a data security incident involving the theft of a car containing an external backup disk drive. The drive contained client information including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and account numbers. The car was broken into and the briefcase containing the drive was stolen. The organization notified police and is offering one year of Experian IdentityWorks membership to affected individuals.
