JCM Partners, LLC notified the California Attorney General that a file containing personal information of housing applicants was taken from its database and posted on an unauthorized website. The company learned of the incident on March 6, 2014. Affected data includes names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses. JCM removed the file, launched an investigation, retained a third-party security expert, and offered 12 months of identity protection via AllClear ID. The investigation was ongoing at the time of notification.
