Mark Riley, Inc. dba E. K. and Company, an accounting and payroll processing company, reported the loss of portable hard drives containing personal information, including names and Social Security numbers. The incident occurred on January 19, 2015. The company stated that the data could not be accessed without specific software not present on the drives. Affected individuals were offered 12 months of identity protection and credit monitoring via AllClear ID. The company replaced the affected drives with encrypted ones.
