Golden 1 Credit Union reported a data breach affecting ATM cardholders in Roseville, California. Between April 7 and April 22, 2018, payment card information and PINs were compromised via ATM skimming. The credit union notified law enforcement, engaged its ATM vendor, and issued new cards with new PINs to affected members. Equifax was engaged to provide one year of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection.
