The Association of American Colleges and Universities reported an external system breach that occurred from April 18, 2020, to May 27, 2020. The breach was discovered on May 20, 2020. The compromised information included names in combination with financial account numbers or credit/debit card numbers and their associated security codes or PINs. One Maine resident was affected and notified in writing on September 21, 2020. The organization offered one year of credit monitoring services through Epiq.
