Friends Seminary filed a supplemental notice with the New Hampshire Attorney General regarding a ransomware attack on third-party vendor Blackbaud. The incident, discovered in July 2020, potentially exposed names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and bank account information of current and former employees. Eight New Hampshire residents were notified in a second wave of notices. Friends Seminary provided two years of credit monitoring and is reviewing vendor policies.

American Bank Systems (ABS) notified Montana residents of a cyber incident discovered on October 22, 2020, where systems were infected with malware. ABS engaged forensic specialists, took systems offline, and reset passwords. The incident involved unauthorized access to customer documents containing PII. ABS is offering credit monitoring services.

Friends Seminary reported a data breach to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The breach was reported on 2020-12-18. 44 Massachusetts residents were affected. The report records the breach type as electronic.

Friends Seminary, an educational institution, reported an external system breach (hacking) that occurred on May 1, 2020, and was discovered on October 5, 2020. The breach compromised the names and Social Security numbers of 1,232 individuals. The institution began notifying affected individuals on December 18, 2020, and offered them 24 months of identity and credit monitoring services from Epiq.

A ransomware attack on Blackbaud's systems in May 2020 resulted in unauthorized access to employee data, including SSNs and bank account info. One NH resident was affected. Friends Seminary provided 2 years of credit monitoring via Experian. Investigation was ongoing as of Nov 2020.
