The laptop was stolen on November 7, 2014, and recovered/deleted on November 21, 2014. Affected data included patient names, phone numbers, diagnosis codes, product details, surgery dates, and provider information. Social Security numbers and credit card data were not involved. The company offered one year of Experian ProtectMyID Elite identity protection.
