Northshore Utility District (NUD) notified Washington AG of a ransomware attack on third-party vendor Automatic Funds Transfer Services (AFTS) on Feb 9, 2021. AFTS' internal servers were encrypted; a copy of NUD customer data (names, addresses, account balances, financial account info) may have been stored on those servers. NUD is notifying ~4,900 WA residents. Investigation ongoing.
