Pitman Farms notified the California Attorney General of a ransomware attack occurring on October 15-16, 2022. An unauthorized party asserted access to and potential copying of files containing names, Social Security Numbers, addresses, and bank account numbers. The company engaged a cybersecurity firm, notified law enforcement, and implemented enhanced security protocols. The notice was sent to residents of California, Utah, and Idaho.
