On November 28, 2021, the City of Hesperia detected a sophisticated cybersecurity incident impacting its network. An unauthorized party accessed and acquired personal information, including full names and Social Security numbers for some individuals, and data pertaining to minors. The City conducted an internal investigation and notified law enforcement. The investigation concluded on January 7, 2022. The City is offering complimentary credit monitoring services to affected individuals.
