Fayetteville Public Library Foundation (FPLF) notified the New Hampshire Attorney General of a data event involving third-party vendor Blackbaud. Blackbaud experienced a ransomware attack in May 2020, resulting in encryption and exfiltration of customer data. FPLF was notified by Blackbaud on July 16, 2020. The incident potentially affected one New Hampshire resident, whose name and financial account information may have been accessed. FPLF provided 12 months of credit monitoring via Kroll and notified the NH AG on March 11, 2021.

The Fayetteville Public Library Foundation experienced a data breach between May 14, 2020, and May 20, 2020, which was discovered on February 9, 2021. The breach affected 534 individuals, compromising names and financial account or credit/debit card numbers with their associated security codes or PINs. Affected individuals were notified in writing on March 11, 2021, and were offered 12 months of credit and identity monitoring services through Kroll, Inc.
