Alliance College-Ready Public Schools

Alliance College Ready Public Schools experienced an external system breach (hacking) on September 16, 2023. The incident affected 8,793 individuals, including one Maine resident. The breach compromised names and driver's license numbers. The entity notified affected individuals in writing on February 2, 2024, and provided 12 months of TransUnion credit monitoring and identity theft recovery services.

Alliance College Ready Public Schools notified the NH AG of a cybersecurity incident on Sept 16, 2023, where an unauthorized third party attempted to infiltrate systems. One NH resident was affected. The org engaged forensic specialists and offered credit monitoring.

Alliance College-Ready Public Schools notified students and parents of a data breach involving Schoolzilla Inc., a third-party school data platform. A security researcher discovered a vulnerability in the Schoolzilla system on approximately April 4, 2017. The researcher accessed partial student records including credentials, PII, health information, and academic data. Schoolzilla fixed the vulnerability and verified the researcher deleted all accessed data.
