Sensitive information, including Social Security Numbers and banking account information used for direct-deposit payroll, was interacted with. The investigation was ongoing at the time of notification to the NH Attorney General on August 14, 2017.

University of New Hampshire notified affected individuals on April 10, 2015, regarding unauthorized access to a faculty member's computer discovered on March 16, 2015. The incident compromised student records containing Social Security numbers. The University offered one year of free credit monitoring via Experian.
