Axosoft LLC (dba GitKraken) notified the Washington AG of a data security incident affecting 2 state residents. Between March 4 and March 31, 2026, a third-party AI integration (Claude Office 365 Excel) inadvertently captured telemetry from an internal payroll spreadsheet, routing employee PII (names, emails, IDs, salary, 401k info) into GitKraken's telemetry systems. Discovered April 1, 2026, the integration was blocked and data deleted on April 3. No unauthorized external access occurred.
