Home Depot notified NH AG of an insider incident (May 7-21, 2014) where a terminated employee misused authorized access to steal credit card data from ~30,000 accounts, including 1 NH resident. Data included names, addresses, DOBs, and card numbers. No SSN/PIN/CVV. Home Depot terminated the employee, cooperated with law enforcement, and provided 12 months of credit monitoring.

The Home Depot notified the NH AG that three terminated HR employees misused employee data. 40 additional Virginia residents were identified, bringing the total to 117 affected. Data included names, SSNs, driver's licenses, and financial accounts. Notification sent March 11, 2014. Investigation ongoing with Secret Service.

Home Depot USA Inc. reported a data breach to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. The breach was reported on 2012-04-17. 49 Massachusetts residents were affected. The report records the breach type as electronic.

Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. notified the NH Attorney General of an insider threat incident where an employee accessed HR data (SSN, DL, financial info) starting Nov 2011. 1 NH resident was victimized; 35 others notified precautionarily. Home Depot terminated the employee, cooperated with law enforcement, and offered 1 year of credit monitoring.

The Home Depot notified 204 associates (12 in NH) that a consultant's password-protected laptop containing names and Social Security Numbers was stolen. Notices were sent on May 24, 2007, offering one year of credit monitoring.
