Ritter Communications (RC) notified Nebraska residents that a third-party service provider, National Recovery Services (NRS), experienced unauthorized access to its network between July 5 and July 11, 2024. The incident impacted data belonging to former customers of Millington Telephone Company, which RC acquired in 2012. NRS copied files containing names and Social Security numbers. RC offered 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring via Experian. RC stated the incident did not impact its direct operations.
